I'd love to see Rose get a decent remaster. Never liked Rog's vocals so I don't care about VR. Might be interesting to hear Die Happy updated too.

I al very exited but the idea of new corvers design is not my taste. the cOvers should be kept as they were. More pictures, biography, and more xtra stuff on the albums should be more meaninfull than paying for new artworks. I hope the right desition get made, because I want to buy almost everything that is coming from this company Wink

I like the new logo and the Human Sac art. The new Once Dead art SUCKS. I do hope they do a proper remaster...

I am with you Kurt.

Thoughts?

That would be great. M8 did that with the Daniel Band - On Rock release and it was nice to have the option of either cover.

Nothing wrong with giving a new interpretation on something. Besides if there is an option to which side you'd like to display that would be a win for fans that wants to see the original.

Keep the new art work! Besides Jim needs the work, IE money!

This will be a "must purchase" for me.

Don't change the artwork - the original artwork is fine the way it was.

Ult is correct - do not change the logo for the band. There's no need to do this.

Looking forward for Die Happy's two albums to be re-released.

This.

Agreed. If you must add new artwork at least include the original to give the consumer the choice between the 2.

Man, I just scored a copy of "Once Dead" like two weeks ago. There it was sitting in a used pile of cds calling my name. I thought I found pure gold. Fool's gold I guess. Oh well, $9.95 is what I paid, so no big deal. At least I have some time to get familiar with the album before the remaster comes out.

That's good news. I really like that Sacred Warrior album, and since I refuse to fork out tons of cash for some crappy bootleg I don't have a real copy of it. Here's hoping for a reissue of the other Sacred Warrior albums and an expanded version of Behind Enemy Lines.

Are we going from master tapes or sources of any kind here?

Personally I hate them tacky releases that do that, if you plan on using newer updated art on a release then have no publication of the original art anywhere near the booklet.

...probably cuz they already paid some graphic designer guy to come up with new stuff. Laughing

The rights have been secured through KMG Music who is the owner of the material as they purchased the Frontline/Intense catalog out many years ago.

Does it really matter when they wrere purchased from Intense ? if a 20 year contract is signed for material and the original label sell on the rights surely after the 20 years the contract is void no matter who owns them unless a newer contract is agreed in the meantime ? now that's only an opinion because maybe the VR material was on a 20+ year contract.

I like this idea.

I wouldn't see the need to change a single thing with the Die Happy releases. Just make more copies.
