It's too bad most of my vinyls are at my parents' place, otherwise I could've taken some more up to date pictures.

Now that is some obscure vinyl.

I'll pull my crate-o-vinyl outta the closet later today if I get a chance and take some pix. I don't have a lot of obscure tr00 arcane steele or nothin' but I do have some interesting bootlegs and other junk.

That is cool if you managed to hold on those Metallica vinyl bootlegs, I never owned many vinyl bootlegs, I had a friend who had several of Dio, Van halen, Robert Plant etc I was always so jealous, where I lived it is was almost next to immpossible to get hold of bootleg live recordings.

Two Metallica bootlegs - CEE FOUR (2LP) and AM I EVIL?

CEE FOUR claims to have been recorded in '87 but if memory serves (I haven't listened to it in ages) there's a Cliff Burton bass solo on the actual record so obviously it pre-dates 1987.

AM I EVIL is a tape of a show I could've gone to when I was in Germany in 1987 but didn't. (See the Metallica discography thread for the full details on that one, I really don't wanna go into it right now).

More Metallica. This is a German pressing of the $5.98 EP and a British 12 inch single of "Harvester of Sorrow," b/w "Breadfan" and "the Prince."

Even more Metallica! (told you I was obsessed.) The SANATORIUM 2LP is a bootleg of a show from March '89 at Nassau Coliseum in New York. The JUMP IN THE FIRE 12 inch is from Europe and has the CREEPING DEATH single on the flipside.

By the way, the back cover of the SANATORIUM boot is a picture of a very, shall we say, well endowed naked lady. Gotta love bootlegs.

This is an interesting Judas Priest 2LP that I bought in Germany in 1987 - BRITISH STEEL and KILLING MACHINE (we in the U.S. know it better as HELL BENT FOR LEATHER of course) in a gatefold package. I've never seen another one anywhere else.

Judas Priest's ROCKA ROLLA on Gull Records (w/original bottle cap cover) plus Grim Reaper's FEAR NO EVIL.

On a side note, is that Grim Reaper one of the worst album covers ever, or is it just me? Haha.

Some random 45s - remember those? The Stryper one is a picture disc, of the Christmas single "Reason for the Season" b/w "Winter Wonderland"

Some classic Christian metal.

Both sides of my pride & joy, Metallica's CREEPING DEATH picture disc 45. Bought this baby from the "import" section at a Crazy Eddie's (remember him?) waaaaaay the hell back in '85.

Supposedly this particular one is worth some coin cuz it's a first pressing; I'm told that later pressings of this pic disc have a UPC code on the B-side, mine doesn't.

I just have some normal ones that everyone has.

In addition to being obsessed with Metallica back in the day, I also had a thing for W.A.S.P. -- here's a couple of cool 12-inch singles (w/non-album B-sides).

9.5.-N.A.S.T.Y. has a killer B-side called "Flesh & Fire" on it, and "School Daze" has an awesome cover of the Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black" on the flip.
