That's pretty unique. Can't say that I've ever seen that.

Yea, it's weird and cool. I picked it up mainly because of the 2nd record being titled KILLING MACHINE (since it's known as HELLBENT FOR LEATHER in the U.S.). Since then I've tried to find info on it on the Net and even at some Priest fan sites and I've never even seen it mentioned anywhere. Dunno if it's rare or anything, but it certainly is a neat conversation piece. Laughing

I try to post some of my vinyl albums on line tonight no rarieties and as soon as I replace the vinyl copies with CD's I usually give 'em away, I just need to talk my teenage daughter into letting me borrow her digital camera.

Some very nice stuff here guys. Keep the pics coming. I don't have jack-shite when it comes to vinyl. A bootleg or 2 and maybe a coupla 45's.

Do you think in another 10 or 15 years, kids will post this fondly of the blogs and firestreams where they downloaded some of their favorite mp3's?

"Man, I remember as a kid, we only had dial-up and it took me almost 4 hours to download those 4 Avenged Sevenfold songs"

Both sides of my pride & joy, Metallica's CREEPING DEATH picture disc 45. Bought this baby from the "import" section at a Crazy Eddie's (remember him?) waaaaaay the hell back in '85.

Supposedly this particular one is worth some coin cuz it's a first pressing; I'm told that later pressings of this pic disc have a UPC code on the B-side, mine doesn't.

I used to have that Picture disc.... ..... so much of my vinyl went by the way side.... I'll definitely have to dig some out that I still have...

Throwin' a few more out there... the Helloween EP was one of the first things I bought when I went to Germany as an exchange student in August of 1987. My brother still sez he thinks I went on the trip strictly to buy that EP. He may be right. Laughing very hard

Don't get too excited MG... the cover is a painting, so they're cartoon boobies. You aren't missing much.

Looking at that Aerosmith pic some more, I think I may at one time owned that boot Look Homeward Angel on a cassette tape. The title sound familiar.

Ult or Freddy, either of you guys remember the Pensauken Mart in Jersey? It was basically an indoor flea market type place and I remember a music store that sold bootlegs on both vinyl and tape, which is probably where I got mine.

I've heard of it, but don't think I ever went there (Pennsauken is kind of a haul from where I'm at).

Back in the '80s I was a regular visitor to a couple of other indoor flea markets that were a bit closer to home (Elmwood Park and Garfield), both of which had stands with "rocker stuff," i.e. records, tapes, shirts, dirty comic books, smoking supplies (ahem!) and other neat-o stuff for teenage degenerates such as myself. I remember seeing a lotta bootlegs at both of those stands too.

Yea, the Pensauken Mart was a quick jaunt over the bridge from Philly, but by the time I had my own license and car to get there, it had gone down hill considerably, if you could ever call an indoor flea market "upscale".

The running joke among my friends was "Are you feeling low or down in the dumps about your life? Go to the Pensauken Mart. You'll instantly feel better about your own existance". It was also next door to a Roger Wilco booze supermarket and a few strip joints. That area had it all!!

I posted the Witchfinder General cover with boobies, but I blurred out the offending nipples.

Yes. It was a kick ass store. Bootlegs and lots of imported metal LPs.

Wasn't it owned by the guy who started Metal Blade Records?

Laughing very hard I didn't even notice that. But you obviously got mad photo manipulatin' skillz. I don't. So that Mentors cover will remain un-posted. Sorry MG.

I believe you're thinking of Johnny Zazula, who started MegaForce Records. He was a flea market record dealer in Jersey at one time (not sure if Pennsauken is where he was located though). He also ran a record store in Clark called "Rock N Roll Heaven" back in the day.

Brian Slagel (Metal Blade) has always been based in California as far as I know...

Right. You are correct. It was Johnny Zazula I was thinking of.
