| Artwork Hmmmmm, not digging it. Music better be exceptional to overcome this.

| I'd rather they write some heavy metal. Their last few albums have been exceptionally boring and flowery. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| I like everything up until Ghost Opera. Black Halo has some good stuff. |

| I hate the new musical direction, the gothic thing is just lame. I want to hear the old Fourth Legacy sound... |

| It might be good if it were actually goth. I don't know what it is at the moment. Something that sort of kind of sounds like power metal but has fans because it's x20 slower and has less guitars and a mix that sounds like someone punching a sponge, prompting an outcry of 'THIS BAND SO TASTEFUL UNLIKE ALL TEH WANKERY!" despite the fact that the songwriting is lacking. I do love 'Black Halo', lots of good stuff there. |

| That one is the favorite with 'The Black Halo'.. 'Epica' and the like I don't understand ANY of the fuss about, except for like, you know.. 'Symptom of the Universe' and the occasional incredible song like that which breaks up the zzzzzzz. Also, what's up with that chick's arm on the cover of that album? If she's disabled, it was totally classless to not at least put her in the credits. I know she's a painting, so what. |

| That cover gets me excited!!!
However, that has nothing to do with the actual album itself. I'm not expecting much.
I loved the Black Halo, but Ghost Opera was a significant step down. Maybe even a cliff. |

| The first 3 w/ Kahn on vocals are great...after that they went off the symphonic deep end... |

| I discovered them with Karma. I liked it, checked out their other stuff. Even found their Mark Vanderbilt records. Epica and Black Halo were hit and miss with me. I listened to Ghost Opera once. I still have it, but I have not listened to it since.
Personally, I think the stuff before Epica is great. After that, the seem to get spotty. The Fourth Legacy gets the most spins with me, though Karma has some nostalgic value just because that was my first experience with them. If I had discovered them with Fourth Legacy, I wonder if I would have been disappointed with Karma. Guess it doesn't matter.
I will probably get the new album just to check it out, but I will probably not get it new. I will wait a while and then search for used or cheap copies on the net. |

| That cover is awful.
I like the last two. I typically don't prefer the mellower side of things, but I like how they arranged their songs last time out. |

| After a few listens i'm enjoying this. Some harkening back to a simpler sound at times and a couple tasy solos. Seems less bombastic then Ghost. |

Not what I wanted to see someone say. There are already too many cds I haven't got yet. I was hoping to pass on this, now I'm somewhat interested. |

| Hahaha Well I'm going in the other direction Joe. I love Kamelot but I have to say this album blows. Its boring. I've listened to it a few times and theres just nothing there. All the songs are kind of the same tempo nothing gets you pumped like previous albums. The chorus' aren't there...... Ugh..... I can't believe how dissapointed I was after I listened to this. _________________ |

+1.
I feel the same way. It's so boring, it loses me completely so quick... the album feels like it lasts an eternity and there's not a single memorable song on here. Kamelot need to give up this dark gothic direction. Go re-listen to Fourth Legacy and release another album. |
