| D'OH!! Busted!! I seem to remember Tommy Lee saying that Motley did something like that back in the early days. They made fake amps to stack up on stage. Still funny though. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| Would be awesome if a big gust of wind came up from behind. Could not happen to a better band! |

| Why don't bands just use real amps? Is there a sound ordinance or something? |

That many real cabinets would be A- very expensive on several levels and B- way too loud if you actually used them all. Back in the old days, it would take that many cabinets to fill an arena with sound and that look became part of Rock And Roll lore...it's all for show.
With the intricate PA systems we have these days, bands don't even need amps at all....but how would an empty stage look? Not very Rock And Roll... |

Exactly. I remember way back when, the guitarist for One Bad Pig used to mic a little practice combo amp live...it always looked kinda funny in pics... |

| Yeah, they're good. I'm looking at getting one of those Ritchie Blackmore signature amps. It's pretty versatile. |
