| It was cool meeting Stender and Uncle Saxon, as well as seeing SpectreFate, mr.electric39, TrogDawn, Tink and others again. The Utlimatum set was great! I'll let others review the show itself, but our setlist was: One for All Ton of Bricks Gutterbox World of Sin Never Locked in Chains Blood on 1000 Hills Exonerate Deathwish Heart of Metal Can't Get Out Blink Looking forward to hearing how day two was. We drove back on Sunday so we missed Troglodyte Dawn, Bloodgood, etc. The crowd was interesting. Lots of former and current Deliverance members on hand. George Ochoa, who joined D on stage for their two encore songs, as well as bassist Brian Khairullah. Also hanging around the crowd was former Betrayal guitarist Bob McCue.  Rob Whitlock

| Just wanted to thank Bill Bafford and the Roxx Productions team for the Up From the Ashes III gig this past weekend! This will be a gig that we will all be talking about in the years to come!!! Thank you too for all the folks behind the scenes who helped make this all possible! Thanks to all the musicans and bands who gave of their time and talents to perform! Thanks to all the kind musicans that still made me feel included although i couldnt be there in person! your kindness and friendships and nice thoughts will never be forgotten..a very special thanks to the Ultimatum band that called me on their way out to Calf..and laffing with me! Losers! I have heard many fans speaking of your performance!glad it went so well!! You make my job for you one of ease and pure joy!!   |

| The crowd wasn't bad. It was a good crowd for the size club that it was at, but it wasn't a capacity crowd by any stretch.
