Well, in terms of identity, probably. But in terms of "replacing" what one has done for a band, I think the other 4 will have their hands full handling all that Portnoy handled...he clearly had a plan and vision for the band...with that gone, the other 4 better get some direction fast.
In terms of drumming, Portnoy is amazing...but there are a lot of amazing drummers out there. |
