A very young David Spade is in Police Academy 4, as is Sharon Stone (Stone also had a role in an old Magnum PI episode). Tom Hanks was in a slasher film called "He Knows You're Alone" (never saw it so i dont know how good it was), and an unrecognizable Gilbert Gottfried was a cast member on the rarely seen 1980-81 season of SNL.

I saw "He Knows You're Alone" years 'n' years ago. I think Tom Hanks was still on "Bosom Buddies" at the time.

I wonder how he looks back on that period of his career nowadays.

He also had recurring roles as numerous "characters" on the MTV game show "Remote Control," as did Denis Leary.

Did anyone here other than me see Adam Sandler's first leading man role, Going Overboard? One of the worst comedies ever made. I can imagine the people who saw it in theaters (it got a brief, limited theatrical release when it was released back in 1989) said, "I bet you we'll never hear from that Sandler guy again!"

Billy Bob Thornton also had a role in Going Overboard.

Some I knew, some I didn't. I'm not so sure of the Ron Jeremy sighting in Ghostbusters. That coulda been anyone with a jew-fro and mustache in the 80's.

Brent Spiner was also in an episode of Tales From The Darkside. He was a preacher in that episode. dont remember the name of it but there was a stubborn old man who died. he was so stubborn that he refused to believe he was dead. People came over to tell him he was indeed dead. he refused to believe it. Until he sneezed and his nose fell off. it also starred Christian Slater (who I saw in one of those ABC Story Book shows on Saturday Mornings back in the 70's when he was about 12 or 13)
