I find this real irritating. Being a former Marine you tend to hold things in a much higher respect than others do. Playing or singing the Star Spangled Banner is a privilege and an honor, but the people doing it should do it properly without adding notes and other things that should NOT be there. I have always found this irritating.

The song should be played to the note without adding additional notes or longer notes than what is in the song. And the crowds should respect the song and shut up until the entire thing has ended!

While I do respect your feeling on it and the fact that you served our country, people who play the Star-Spangled Banner in like manner have the freedom to do so b/c of the brave men and women who serve(d) in the US Armed Forces fighting for that freedom. With that being said, I'll remember to fold you up in a nice tight triangle when taking you off of the flagpole at night. That's my .02 and no more to be said on my part.

Did I hear the announcer correctly when he said "of the band Ultimate Metal" instead of Ultimatum? Anyone else hear it like that?

Yes, he said the name of the band wrong. He said Ultimate Metal.

Great cheer from the crowd at the end there and the player looks totally fed up.

That particular game was on Halloween night, so the attendance was very low. There were probably less than 500 people there that night, which is unusual.

As for the players, well they played hard and won the game, so perhaps they were more fired up than they looked!

Regardless, Robert did a great job and I am sure they will have him back again soon. Hopefully next time it will be to a bigger crowd and they will get the band name right.
