| dont judge me ok. i got up at 19.00. i was working all night to make a deadline. then i slept. got a 65 and a 69 for some work so i was pleased with tht |

My wife hung heavy, light-blocking curtains in their room to stop that very thing. Works like a charm. They've usually good till 8:30 am now in winter.

We have those in the kids' rooms too but since my older boy started school, his body clock is "programmed" to wake up shortly before 7 AM whether it's a school day or not. Then of course as soon as his lil' bro hears him bouncing around, he's up and ready to rock n roll too.
Last weekend the wife and I were so tired from cleaning & decorating for the holidays that I told my older son point blank, "if you get up early again, that's fine, go downstairs and watch TV or something... but if you bother us before 8 AM, I swear I am going to punch you right between the eyes."
