| Sepultura - Schizophrenia, Celtic Frost - Into the Pandemonium, Napalm Death - Scum, Death - Scream Bloody Gore, and the always forgotten Bathory - Under the Sign of the Black Mark.
from the poll i picked King Diamond - Abigail, but Scum was probably my fave of that year & one of my all time faves. _________________

| No contest for me, I am sure Savatage is going to win this poll, but for me and IMO the album and band that made the biggest impact IMo was Guns n Roses. |

| Some great albums in 1987!!!!! Also the year I graduated from High School. Some great stuff not on the poll - WhiteCross's debut, Bloodgood's second CD, Joe Satirani's Srufin. But, in the end had to go with one of my favorite albums of all time, Def Leppard's Hysteria. Laugh if you must, but it is a great album!!!!! |

| I love HotMK but GnR changed the face of rock and put out one of the greatest rock albums of all times. |

| Some damn fine picks in that list and I'm tempted to vote for Raven's LIFE'S A BEEYOTCH simply cuz they're my boys, but in 1987 the album that got the most play from me was definitely Dokken's BACK FOR THE ATTACK.
GNR's APPETITE was also a tempting pick but to be honest I didn't catch onto them till the album started catching fire about a year later, in '88. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| I voted for Dokken in the Poll. I was listening to a lot of Shrednel(Shrapnel) artists at the time and Surfing came out that year:
Joe Satriani - Surfing with the Alien Tony MacAlpine - Maximum Security Cacophony - Speed Metal Symphony McAuley Schenker Group - Perfect Timing John Norum - Total Control The Cult - Electric |

| From the poll.... G-n-R
Savatage and Sanctuary were constant plays for me that year, as was alot of christian stuff.
If Warlock would of been in the poll, they would of gotten my vote. I like alot of the tunes on "T-n-A" _________________ |
