| This band (although definitely hard rock) may be a bit weak for the majority of the board, but I'm going to give it a shot. Anyone heard The Pretty Reckless? They are a hard rock outfit out of NYC that have a lot of potential. They came out with their debut album last year and it's nothing spectacular but very listenable. The band is headed by 17 year old Taylor Momsen who apparently is an actress. OK. Never heard of her. But her voice is what makes this stuff enjoyable, IMO. The music is pretty middle of the road stuff, but her vocals are the piece de resistance. I think if they make it to album #2, they will hit their stride. Give it a shot....  |

| I actually like them and heard of them because they were on the cover of Revolver, the songs I heard are very good if unspectular, I predict with the right producer this band would go far.

| Listening to their album (I downloaded it, sue me) I think a strong producer is all they need to keep them focused. The record sounds a bit piecemeal, but the potential is really apparent. At the very least the Taylor chick should go far, even though she's a bit of a rip on Cherie Currie.  |

I was watching their video on Youtube at the home, my oldest daughter came by to see what I was watching and called her a skank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also reminded me I am old enough to be her father, for that comment my daughter Sammi will be grounded til about 2025. |

I think you have to be 18 to buy those porn-star heels she's wearing in the video. 
But anyway, it was a pretty decent song. Wouldn't turn it off if it came on the radio but I dunno if I'd listen to a whole CD by 'em.
