| Yup, and if they nominate Ozzy and a few of his band members, they're more likely to show up and probably perform as well. The show gets some big name performers, some rock "cred" and the bands get free publicity (as well as a good butt-smooching). It's a win-win situation for everyone involved.
And the best part is we, the fans, get...uh, well, ummmmmmmmm. Another award show?

| Well it can be broken down to each category. You know, Death, thrash, black, doom, etc and have their best of each in those categories. Just my thinking. It would work! |

There's a lot of sponsorship involved too. They want to keep this show as mainstream as possible. Is this some legit metal award show? Of course not. There is no legit awards show for rock/metal as far as I'm concerned but I'm still glad the Golden Gods exist. |

| I saw it, it is one of those things that you want to be good because of the lack of respect toward the metal/hard rock scene at award shows and radio charts, but it just isn't good. The Duff cover was good but I could have done without Corey Taylor, and I did like seeing Alice Cooper play live, and the Volbeat performance. |
