I've done these before, and after hearing some kick-ass covers in the past few days, I've decided to do another.
And since I dig great cover songs, please add a video or something, if possible. Also, since these have been posted in the past, try to add something new or obscure, something that most of us like haven't heard before.
Devin Townsend just posted this link. It's him covering Sinatra! Haha. I'll add a YouTube video when it inevitably shows up on that site.
Here's DevilDriver's brilliant cover of a 16 Horsepower classic:

Nonpoint covered "Billie Jean" live at the beginning of the year. They pretty much riffed on the Chris Cornell version he did years ago. Regardless, fans dug it so much that the band went and laid down a demo of the song.
So good! The band made it available for free download, too: http://www.mediafire.com/?lheyiks4h6hsgp0
GO!

I love that Social D cover. I played it once at this sort of hick place in town and it got real quiet and people stared at me but some said they really liked it.

Who knew that a Pet Shop Boys song could be so dang METAL?
I reviewed this Atrocity disc of '80s covers a couple of years ago. I'm not a fan but I had to admit the way they "metaled up" a bunch of new wave songs was hilarious. Here's their take on "Relax" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
They did a great cover of the Simple Minds song "Don't You Forget About Me" (from "The Breakfast Club") on that disc too but I can't find a decent clip of it.

I've enjoyed Fu Manchu's choice of covers. They do a nice job making them their stoney, sludgy own. In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing these guys do a whole albums worth of cover tunes. I'd snap that up in a heartbeat. Although I usually do that with any of their albums anyway.

First of all.... can someone explain to me why when if I start a thread and I want to post a video I can do 1. Then if I try to post another one I'm not able to? The option is gone. I'll have to post links since the option is gone. Thats very annoying...

Try hitting the "preview" button instead of "send". The option is shown there I think.

I don't always see the option either so usually I just type out "" (note the slash) at the end. Works for me.

I've done that and that doesn't work either. It will just show everything I typed out in a link.

That usually means there's something wrong with the code.
