Add Raven's entire Party Killers album to the list of "Killer Covers". Even the more well-known tunes have been made-over and given that unique Raven-esque quality. It reminds me of how Anthrax used to put their stamp on song covers and make them their own.

Saw Tom Keifer last night. Came out and just nailed Joe Cocker's - A Little Help from my Friends. The place went apeshit.

I don't post in here very much, or even look at this thread often, but I feel compelled to throw in this awesomely raucous and wild version of "Summertime Blues" that may, for me, edge out Blue Cheer's as the definitive (I have so many versions of this song in my collection...but I love all the covers I've heard so far). This one comes from the Back From the Grave comp series of 60s garage/punk no-hit wonders...it's excellent.
One of the best Black Sabbath covers I've ever heard.
Soul singer Charles Bradley reimagines "Changes" as a classic soul ballad and it's f'n perfect.
(the video is really odd, but it's the music that's important...and that voice!)
Yup! That's pretty freakin' special! Thanks for posting

I'm not familiar with Disturbed at all (other than basically who they are), but I do like this version of Sound of Silence.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a "killer" cover but it's certainly strange. I was reading a recent interview with John Gallagher of Raven online and it mentioned that British pop singer and large breasted poster gal Samantha Fox had done a dance-pop version of Raven's "Hard Ride," (!!!) re-arranged and re-titled "Giving Me A Hard Time" (snicker, chortle). Some of the lyrics were changed around but it's definitely based off of that Raven track.
I am not sure how this factoid has managed to slip under my radar for all these years since I'm a massive Raven fanboy and a long time Samantha Fox stalker, but ... (shrugs) John Gallagher himself sez in the interview that Raven weren't even made aware of its existence till a couple of years ago.
