Beady Eye is the new band from Oasis' Liam Gallagher. I think a coupla other guys from Oasis are in the band as well. I just stumbled upon them reading a small review in People Magazine of all places! Yes, my wife gets People Magazine and yes, I read it when I'm in the crapper. Moving on...

I checked out some samples on Amazon and it sounds pretty good to me. Just based on the clips, it doesn't seem that far removed from what Oasis is known for. Beatles inspired, poppy Brit-rock. If that's your bag, you might enjoy Beady Eye. If you're of the opinion that the Gallagher brothers are nothing but pretentious twats, well, what are you reading this for?

Always enjoyed the music but couldn't stand the Gallaghers' bickering. Hopefully that's all in the past and it's now just about the music.

This album is really good. As expected it's not far off from Oasis. Very catchy. Liam's really got that John Lennon-vibe down pat.
