| I was at a friend's place watching bands that friends of mine play in (I was mainly there for Unbidden, a fantastic local death metal band). A little over an hour after the show began, I decided to pick up a couple of things at the Co-Op just down the street corner.
Unfortunately, my car was hit by a Jeep. My car has been damaged too badly to be repaired. After calling 911, the local police, firemen, and paramedics arrived not long afterwards. I was taken into the ambulance and to the hospital.
My head was pounding (which has stopped) and I did get a slight head bump. The doctors at the hospital checked me out and said that I'll be just fine. I wasn't able to see Unbidden perform, unfortunately. Their set was over around the same time I was released from the hospital.
At least things weren't as bad as they could have been. Things could have been a lot worse than they were. |

| Actually, not a lot of damage was done to their Jeep. Nearly all the damage was towards my vehicle.
I got to speak to them a bit, they seemed like good people to me. They were unhurt and there were no hard feelings whatsoever.
I will receive some form of compensation as I did have my vehicle under insurance. |

| I guess the rules in Canada are different from the States. Here, if the accident is the other guy's fault, his insurance pays for your damages.

| As much as it sucks your car got totaled, a car can be replaced and I am glad you are o.k. but if the pain in your head comes back, go back and see a doctor, they donot always catch everything in the emergency room. |
