| So I have been writing music for most of my life. Just for myself. I'm not great, but I am to a point where I am wanting to record some stuff. But it is just myself. I can get around most of it except the drums. Has anyone here done some one-man recording and has some tips about getting proper drum sounds? |

| I really like the program Acoustica Beatcraft. The drums sound pretty good which has led a few people to believe I record with real drums, not use a program |

| I hope things go well for you Brian.....programing measure by measure is a pain-n-@$$ thing. I did it a few times back in the day and even was "replaced" by programed drums when a band I had just joined recorded a song or two for a comp via request of the producers using a digital format of some sort. Anywho's...some good sugestions so far and mileage may vary. Use what you are comfortable with and don't settle for convenience over quality.
