| I have always thought that Blackfoot straddled the fence when it came to country/southern rock/and metal. They have (almost) always been heavier than Skynyrd and other southern rock bands.  |

These newer generation of so called country "stars" (cough) have the worst voices in the history of their genre.
If you can write a song....GREAT!!!!, if you can't sing worth dog poop, let somebody that CAN sing..... sing it for you!!!!!!!!
Another thing, in light of the bin laden killing, I'm surprised all these "rip off" artists haven't started pooping out the red, white, and blue stuff to make another fast buck. You just don't know how much I detest country music, with their little accent, copycatin, generic, TRASH they now record.
I'm so glad this type of music is so dead now, thanks to all them there country girls movin on over to that hip hop stuff. |

| Hank 3's new one Hillbilly Joker is basically a country punk album, very good IMO. |

He's a member of the Williams dynasty...they're all about drinking & drugs.
What's funny is that he's also been a member of Superjoint Ritual and numerous other hardcore/metal bands in addition to his country work. One of my friends went to see a Hank III show a few years ago and sez he did a country set first, all the country people left, then the punks & bangers came in for the hardcore/metal set.

| He usually does a Country set first, then a Damn Band set which is his more psychobilly stuff & if you are lucky he'll do an Assjack set too. He is currently working on a Doom project called A.D.D. & more country stuff. His live shows should not be missed if you get the chance. |
