| Iron Maiden by a landslide.
I really think Mindcrime is an overblown, boring, pretentious piece of Pink Floyd worship. _________________ |

| Mindcrime. That's a geat Maiden album in a long line of great maiden albums. But Mindcrime blew my fragile mind when I first listened to it on my SonyWalkman in a darkened room many years ago. | Quote: | | I really think Mindcrime is an overblown, boring, pretentious piece of Pink Floyd worship. |
As Eyesore would say "Pfft". _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| Double 'Pfft', 'Operation Mindcrime' I feel is an intelligent well written concept album and if you are going to worship a band you could do worse then Pink Floyd |

| Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is great, one of Maiden's best. However, my vote goes to Operation: Mindcrime. |

I concur (BIG TIME)
Only took two lps after the EP for me to lose interest. Though I did dig on some of EMPIRE
LIkewise, lost interest in Maiden with this lp as well._________________ |

| No shame in losing to Maiden, which is who I voted for. |

Guess this dumb @$$ biker don't get it. Well written songs can still be boring. When I try to listen to it, I start laughing cause all I can visualize in my head is G. Tate standing in front of a mirror practicing his theatrics to the tunes. More emphasis on posturing and facial expressions. I mean I bust up laughing.
Trust me...I have tried to like this lp. I would wager that it hasn't ever been played start to finish by me more than a handful of times._________________ |

| Mindcrime!!!!!!!!!
While I am a HUGE Maiden fan and SSOASS is a frakin' great album, Mindcrime is just a better album and to this day gets more play than SSOASS. Just a fantastic album!!!!!!!!! And seeing it live on the Empire tour ruled!!!! |

| It would be nice to see something besides Iron Maiden and Metallica dominating the polls for the 80's. Mindcrime was a great album! |
