Thundersteel & Privilege Of Power have both been reissued as well, so they are pretty easy to find new at this point.

I picked up my first Rio album, Fire Down Under, last week. Great album! I plan on getting more, but can someone give me a backstory on their ferret man that frequented their early covers?

Great album, still the only Riot CD I have. And the ferret dude is actually a seal. I believe his name is Johnny. |

Riot are awesome! I only have Thundersteel and Fire Down Under though, but those two records are brilliant.

I bought Thundersteel about 2 months ago along with a TON of other albums. I'm just now getting around to listening to it... This album is rocking my socks off!!!

Thundersteel is an awesome album. A must have for every metal collector. I also own through the storm, which is very good. As for the rest of their catalogue, it's quite hard to find. I'm still trying though.

Some Riot news: Riot vocalist Tony Moore has quit the band. But it seems that he isn’t at all happy. Moore claims that “There really was no good reason for us to part ways…it’s all a pointless misunderstanding”. All of which makes us wonder what’s been going with the New Yorkers. Riot played at the first ever Monsters Of Rock Festival at Donington in 1980. They returned the next year for the Heavy Metal Holocaust at Port Vale FC. Since which, UK visits have been as regular as delegates at a constipation convention. The band will now start the hunt for a new singer.

That would be cool, he is a great vocalist. Moore will probably join Anthrax for a couple days.

Tony's helium high pitched vocals always have annoyed me. Let's hope Dimeo comes back. Or maybe Tony Harnell will join them. Sucks that the band's 2 best singers are both dead.

Yeah. They're the Spinal Tap for singers. They've had some good ones though.

| If anyone ever wondered where "Racing With The Devil On A Spanish Highway" on Privilege of Power came from, here's the original version....
