| I hope they do a whole album.
It's the next best thing to a Born Again reunion.

| The coolest of all for me is that I have relatives from Gyumri, Armenia. Makes me love these guys even more for raising money for my folks to build a music school. |

| Sounds promising. Tony must've made a deal with the devil. He still looks bad-ass, meanwhile Ian (only 3 years older than Tony) looks like an old pop-pop. Must be the bi-focals. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| Here's a little more info on the project... | Quote: |
Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi are working together in a new band called Whocares. And it also includes members and former members of Iron Maiden, Deep Purple and Metallica.Joined by Jon Lord, Nicko McBrain. Jason Newsted and HIM guitarist Mikko ‘Linde’ Lindstrom, they’ve just recorded a charity single, with all proceeds to go to the rebuilding of a music school in Gyumri, Armenia.
The single, released in digital and CD formats on May 6, is to features the songs Out Of My Mind and Holy Water. The CD edition will also have the video for the first song, plus a 40-minute documentary chronicling Gillan and Iommi’s work for Armenia. This goes back to 1988, when the country was devastated by an earthquake and the pair launched Rock Aid Armenia.
Says Iommi: “Some 20 years ago when the call came, I thought, well at least I’ve helped, but it was going to Armenia and seeing the actual devastation caused by the earthquake that really made me realize that funds were still needed. “Despite all the money that was raised last time, here was a music school doing their best, forgotten, in basic tin sheds. After the warmth and honour bestowed upon us during our visit, we just had to help make a difference and get the school rebuilt. And what better way than to hook up with some of rock’s greatest players and my old mate Ian, both an honour and a pleasure.”

I love and respect these guys so much.
On a side note, I left the country about 10 months before this earthquake. |

Tony dyes his hair. but Ian just let the gray take it's coarse... That might have something to do with it. |
