I've seen Elton John in concert 3 times and he finally played Friend/Love Lies Bleeding the 3rd time back in the late 90s.

No, I've never even heard it. I'd like to, their first album is one of my faves. If you like them I'd also recommend the band Dark "Round The Edges". It's similar jammy psych prog with bits of heavy guitar power.
