| Hi all! Hope I’ve posted this in the right area! Just wanted to let you know that my band Silver Ocean Storm has just released it's debut album! We're very excited so we just wanted to share the news Our band members have collectively supported the likes of SLAYER, DEVIN TOWNSEND & STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, MASTODON, TESTAMENT, ARCH ENEMY, DARK TRANQUILITY, ENTOMBED, HELLYEAH, KITTIE, WEDNESDAY 13, NEVERMORE, DEATH ANGEL & ARMOURED SAINT but to name a few. This debut release was co-produced/mixed/mastered by the amazing Jonas Kjellgren of the excellent Swedish band Scar Symmetry and we couldn't be happier with the result. No offense, those style of vocals just don't appeal to me. |

| cheers guys! yeah, i hear what what you're saying about the screaming vox. possibly a bit over compressed and pushed too far forward in mix, and just thrown over the top of the music rather than blending and complimenting it?
i think we wanna move a bit more towards the melodic stuff too in the future. probably worked a bit better in these recordings?
tis cool you can get some strapping and fear factory out of it. probably inevitable since the guitarist wants to marry devin. probably dino too..... we get ppl saying faith no more too...? do you get that? i dunno
i also like pie.
