Yeah i'll get it. (even though i thought it was already remastered by Mustaine a couple years ago) or was that not a digital remaster?

In related news... I just went to a Drum & Bass clinic yesterday that featured Dave Ellefson along with Frank Bello, Charlie Benante and Mike Portnoy. (they're in the area for the Big 4 show in Indio)

Doesn't it come in different configurations? I thought there might be a basic version...

Maybe it does, but the Amazon link provided by Ult is for the sooper dooper mega deluxe edition which goes for $111.50....wayyyy too rich for my blood.

Nifty, but the chances of me getting this are slim and none. And Slim just got on a bus outta town.

I'm fine with having the CD I already have.

I actually listened to it this afternoon, by the way.

That "Old School" thing that comes in a box that looks like a school desk? I saw that on Blabbermouth yesterday. Very cool looking set, but again...too rich for my broke a$$. Haha.

My birthday's coming up next month so if anybody wants to hook a brotha up with that Megadeth set, or the Alice box, for that matter, you know where to find me. Very Happy

I'll probably pick this up, but only if it's the original mix that's been remastered, I hated Mustaines remix.

I have absolutely no interest in buying that 5-CD/3-LP set. As for the 25th anniversary 2-CD set with the live bonus CD, I don't know. I'd be A LOT more excited about it if it was a live DVD. If I listen to it and it sounds good for a live recording and doesn't sound to similar to the studio recordings I'll probably buy it eventually.

I'm buying it. Looks like a cool set and I am a sucker for Megadeth rarities. Also, the 2004 Remix sucks.

I'm still amazed that they got Lars Ulrich to contribute liner notes....

I think Peace Sells... is Mustaine's best vocal performance of his career. I wish they would also do a proper remaster (not a Mustaine remix) of So Far, So Good.

The extras on this edition really aren't worth the cash. I'll stick with what I have, thanks.

It's certainly one of his stronger moments, definitely. I personally think Mustaine sounds best on Youthanasia though... he almost actually sings on that one ;P

I'm up in the air about this one. I have the original and the remix. I like them both although it would be nice to hear a remastered version of the original.

Lenticular 3D is not a new process, it has been used for decades for making cheap religious trinkets and what-not. Anyhow, I'm with Freddy on this - $111.60 is too much for me, unless it is strictly limited to 500 hand-numbered copies or less. Then I may pick a copy for trading purposes in the future.

I don't like when he tries to sing. Same with Hetfield...

Just shout into the mic like the old days.
