| I want to do a Poll of the Best thrash Metal comeback album...In your opinion of course. I am by no means considering this a perfect poll, it may be excluding some bands....Take it for what it is and don't get your undies in a bunch over it.....I called on some help from Ultmetal and Stender, to make sure I have all my bases covered...I don't know if this is the correct way to do it, but the poll only allows for 15 options, so I am going to break it into two polls, and possibly combine the 5 best in each poll to a third poll. ( unless there is an obvious runaway)
I wish I could include Powermad...But they are only starting to work on new materail ...Also wish I could include Accept, but they are not thrash.......
This Poll Done Saturday(subject to change)....So have at it....
O ya, my criteria was a break from album releases, and or a change back to thrash.

I think they made a solid album that mixed aggression with a slightly modern edge. |

| Megadeth return to straight up thrashin form on this one. same thing for Death Angel. This new Death angel sounds like the long anticipated follw up to act III imo. |

| I almost went with Tempo of the Damned, but Omega Wave blew my mind. I know some people weren't satisfied with it, but I love it and can never get enough of it.

| Death Magnetic. Being a fan only after The Black Albuum, the only Metallica album I was ever excited to hear for the first time was Load and it was such a major letdown that I disgustedly gave up on them. After hearing samples of Death Magnetic before the album's release, I was finally anxious for a new Metallica album and I was not dissappointed in the least. Testament is a runner up, but they never sent me packing as a fan at any point. |

| Out of these albums, I'd pick Testament. I love "The Formation of Damnation", "F.E.A.R.", and "More Than Meets Than Eye". IMO that album was as good as The Gathering, maybe even better!  |
