| The singing is a mixture of B52's and Richard Cheese. |

Mine wasn't praise.
Constructive criticism? Your lyrics rhyme, that's a start. Really, the fancy man-light in the loafers delivery of the vocals really underminds any progress you're making now. Either bury them in the mix or sound more aggressive. My 2 cents. |

| Theres definitely potential there. My constructive criticism would be to find a different vocal approach. The way you just talk the lyrics out sounds really annoying.Try singing or go for a more aggressive thrash type approach.Keep practicing and good luck to you guys. |

| Sounds fine to me.
If you go and listen to ANY 80's punk band (the Repo Man soundtrack immediately comes to mind), your band would fit right in...
I like it, send me a CD. |

| Thanks, Addy! This is our first recording that we released to the public, so we're working on getting the sound better before a full-length. |

| Well, the vocals are an aquired taste, but not necessarily something you should change all the much, maybe sing a bit more - the real issue, to me, is the mix - the vocals are WAY too up front, while the rest of the instrument sound like their miles away - the guitars should be up front, with the vocals - I realize these are just demo's, and probably not the way you want them to sound, but that's the biggest issue anyway, at least to me it is.

I agree, we need to work on the mix some. When we were mixing it the first time through, I think we turned down the guitars too much (because we thought it'd be loud enough since there are 2 guitarists). However, at some parts I can barely hear the second guitar, which is a problem. Thanks for the suggestions, Mglaffas!
And TroubleZone, Love Shack would be fun xD |
