| I liked the debut when it came out, it was kind of like Slayer to me but if they went death metal. years later I had friends who loved the albums that came out after, but they did nothing for me.
Maybe it is just me, but with the intensity they gained, they lost the way they wrote catchy songs like they had on the first LP. |

| I decided to listen to some mp3 clips of Insineratehymn on Amazon after reading the posts about it on the previous page. I don't think it's something I'll ever buy. It sounds like Deicide overall and it has some cool moments, but it is a bit too slow at times and it does sound like they are experiencing some writer's block on this one. Of course, as I'm sure many of you know, this album and its successor (which is far worse from what I've been told) were just rush jobs. |

Overall, i think this has a few catchy riffs here and there but it's still sub-par with what they have produced historically.

| This is probably the second worst Deicide album (only Till Death...) is worse. With that said, there are still some pretty cool tracks, and I would definitely buy this if you were a Deicide fan. Deicide really started to pick things up after this album. |
