| I know there are a lot of vinyl threads, and perhaps some people have linked up sites, but what are some of the best sites to purchase vinyl that you guys order from? Thanks. |

Thanks Shawn, jazz, blues, funk, and soul are all styles I love and were meant to be heard on vinyl. |

| Some places I use are:
Amazon Rockadrome.com (they have both new and used vinyl) Cmdistro.com (they carry their vinyl as well as other labels)
Also check out the record labels. I have ordered from Earache and Prosthetic with no issues. Also the labels tend to throw in free stuff. Prosthetic put an extra signed booklet in the box and Earache had a bunch of stickers and such. Earache and CMdistro package their vinyl really well. I would recommend ordering only vinyl and not mixing vinyl and cds in the same package. I've done that and the LP jacket usually ends up bent because of all the space in the box. |

| and for Prog go to Greg Walker's Site Syn-Phonic = http://synphonic.8m.com/catalogs.htm
I have always had good luck with his service and he seems to be a nice guy!!!!
Try ebay as well. I also have used Discogs for really rare stuff. Discogs is where I bought the Sword - Cold Sweat 7" vinyl, and a couple of Humble Pie singles.

| ebay, used stores, thrift shops like Salvationa Army or Goodwill, lawn sales / garage sales.
There are not many stores I know of around me that sell new vinyl, they usually have a huge used sction too.
http://www.nwnprod.com/ even though the shipping kills me everytime, but probably everybody in the USA gets a better dea
I always prefer to order directly from the bands if possiblel |

| A lot of their stuff is pricey or at collector's prices but they do have some good finds pop up from time to time - amoeba.com
They don't charge shipping or tax either (if to the US). They also ship quick and package it up well. |

| In that case, this site is ALL you need:
http://www.hrrecords.de/shop/Home
Unbelievable what they have on vinyl. Prices can be a little high sometimes but when the say mint, it is mint! And the way they send the albums is the best I've seen.
Yeps, I'm a fanboy and a VERY happy customer! |

| Josh man, no need for soul and funk LP's? What up with that? I'd take them brother, but I don't want you to pay crazy shipping and handling fee's. |

| YO, Los Angeles cats. Good shops for used vinyl?
I like the old fashioned "digging through boxes" type shopping experience.

You're on the west coast right? Yeah that would be quite a fee for the shipping. |
