| Beautiful vocalist. I prefer Joss Stone in that "soul" department though. |

| 'Make you Feel My Love' is the Bob Dylan song she covers, I can't see the video Metalrob posted but her version of the Dylan song is stunning. |

| The whole album is amazing. The single is about the most boring song on the CD, and that is saying alot!
I also liked here previous single from a few years back, called "Chasing Pavements". _________________ |

| Can I be an elitist here and say I listened to her long before she was popular? Haha. All my friends are now like, "Duuuuuuuuuuuude, have you heard Adele?" And I'm like, "Yeah, she's that chick I said you'd like a few years ago to which you replied, 'Nice butt-chin'."

| That's exactly what I'm gonna say when/if Dana Fuchs breaks big. I even have her personalized autograph on the live DVD. _________________ "Don't reenact scenes from 'Platoon' with Charlie Sheen."

I can't tell you how many bands/musicians I tried to turn friends onto and they did not care. Then something happens, the mainstream picks up on them, and boom! All those friends are "super fans." It's so lame. _________________ "Happy people have no stories" —Therapy? Shock Totem | The Eyesore Times | Getcha Rocks Off |

I remember reading years ago on another board, a guy into Metallica had tried to get friends into them in the late 1980s and his friends hated them, and even made negative comments about them at time afterwards. Then, in 1991, Metallica releases their self titled album (or as it's better known, The Black Album) and these people are huge fans all of a sudden. |

That's becuz it went mainstream. I work with a guy who is about 4 years older than me and he loves hard rock and metal. But what he likes is played of rock radio smurf poo like \"thebandthatshallneverbementionedagain\", Limp Biz, Stinkin Park crap like that but when I play stuff like Annihilator, Primal Fear, Sinner, Symphony X he says it's way to heavy and gives me chit.
To each his own I guess he can listen to crappy music like that and i'll listen to good metal.

| Trust me, I know. One of my best friends is a girl I dated in high school, and she hated 311 when I first played them for her. I was in a band that did a show with them when they toured their Grassroots album. I thought the music was great, the band members were cool as hell. I was an immediate fan. My friend? Said they sucked.
Cut to about two years later, 311 has a new album out, and "Down" becomes this huge breakout hit. All of a sudden, my friend loooooooooooooooooooves 311! And today, she acts like she's been "down" since day one. Loooooooooooooooooooves that Grassroots album now.
Part of me hates her. Haha. _________________ "Happy people have no stories" —Therapy? Shock Totem | The Eyesore Times | Getcha Rocks Off |
