No one probably noticed but I was away for a few days

The girl and I went up to PA again with our other couple friends that we hang out with on the weekends. We went with them to their parents cabin last year and they asked us to come along again this year so we figured what the hell.

Everything was fine up til the 2nd full day. My gfs friend was starting to get into her bitching at her fiance as usual. I feel so sorry for the guy. He's one of the nicest guys I know but his fiance can be nice one minute then turn into someone you wouldn't want to know the next. Last year she drank way too much on the trip and started in on me because she couldn't understand how to play a game I brought along. I snapped right back at her and that was pretty much it. Everything was fine and has actually been fine since then. She has her episodes every once in a while but when she has them when were home we can just leave lol. At the cabin it just gets awkward. Of course this year was no different, we went to a casino because they never went to one and we played some games and they actually won some money. Her fiance wanted to play a little more and she wanted to leave and she just ripped right into him the whole walk back to the car and in the car. No one said a word the whole way back to the cabin. We finally got back talked about cooking dinner and everything was fine with her again. We played Darts that night my gf and beat them twice and I made a little jokes how we beat them. The fiance gets my humor she doesn't. I could tell she was upset she lost.

The next day she had another little episode nothing too bad but our vacation wasn't that long and my gf and I were getting a little sick of her. Later that night we played Darts again and they won one game.

The next night we played darts again my gf and I won and I was like HAHAHA! we beat you guys 3 times, just joking I don't really care who wins or looses, then she goes to me so what, you don't see us making a big deal when we win, which is total BS. I told her I was only kidding and get over it.

The next morning my gf and I both woke up not feeling well. We went downstairs and the fiance asks us if we wanted to go out to breakfast. We both said probably not, and his fiance went to get ready, but then we talked maybe we would share something so we changed our mind and said we would go. Well god forbid we did that lol! My gfs friend goes..... I'm not waiting for anyone, lets go! My gf and I just looked at each other and said wth? Then she comes in the living room and says I'm just saying whats on my mind, I want to have breakfast alone. My gf was really upset and said well all you had to say was you wanted to be alone no big deal, you didn't have to give us an attitude. Then she goes well thats how I feel sorry, her fiance couldn't believe how she was acting, even he was a little mad, but they just left. My gf looks at me and says screw this, and we packed our stuff up and left.

I didn't know what to do at that point. I was just ready to go the hell home, but didn't really want to because I took off of work to go do something besides sit home so I decided I'd take her to six flags since shes never been there. We stayed over in princeton, nj near my 2 favorite music stores so we did that the day we got there then the next day went to six flags.

After six flags we were going to go home but she never went to Atlantic City before so I drove out there for the hell of it. Got a room at Harrahs which wasn't too expensive for that area. We played some slots and walked around before going to bed. The next morning we talk a walk around the boardwalk but it was so damn hot and I think we were both just over tired from all the driving and BS that we put up with in the first half of our vacation we went home.

Our other "friends" sent us a text message saying they were sorry but we didn't write them back. Theres always some sort of drama whenever they are involved, and I shouldn't even say they its just the girl. I feel bad for my gf though, shes her maid of honor and she really doesn't want to do it anymore.

...........Phewwwwwwww..... ok I'm done writing. I just had to get that all out. I couldn't write how much of a B*tch someone was this past weekend on facebook because then she will see it lol!

I've had my bad experiences with these "couples vacations" too. Seems like that kind of drama always erupts for some reason and everyone ends up having a lousy time.

Yea. Last year wasn't bad up til the last day when everyone, but me got drunk. Nothing really bad happened but this girl thinks she can just drink and drink with no end in sight. She weighs nothing too, so it doesn't take her too long to get into her mode. So we new how bad this trip could have went but decided to go anyway. Next time we'll just do something alone from the start.

After reading your story, I would suggest you travel without your "friends" from now on.

Yeah....the way I've always seen it; only people who like to take it easy and chillax are any fun when it comes to vacations. People tend to have these ideas of how things should be, and when that gets ruined: BOOM! Angry. This happens to myself from time to time, but not like I was when I was, a teenager.

Ouch! I had one of those trips a couple of years ago.

Not fun, we don't do stuff with those people anymore.
We're nice and polite when we see them at an event or something, but we don't do things together at all.

Too much hassle and drama.

Haha you guys would all be welcomed on any trip. It would actually be cool to meet up with some (excluding FF j/k) of you guys at some point. I've met up with Powermacho a few times and hes a cool guy.

I'd call you lucky (I'd like to be able to go on a vacation somewhere with a girlfriend or a at least a friend), but with what you had to put up with, you have my sympathy. Welcome back BTW.

Hahaha that sucks Dallas. Yea sometimes your better off just going with 1 other person. It really depends on the company. It might even be better to go with a larger group that way when you get sick of 1 couple or person you start hanging out with another lol.

My gf still hasn't called her friend, she doesn't know what to say or do.
