If there are any fans of the band Hum here, you can download a bunch of their EP cuts, demos and b-sides for free from this fan site (with band permission):

I kinda ignored Hum when they were around, but recently have sort of "discovered" them for myself....good stuff.

They played kind of a spacey, alternative rock...this was their minor hit "Stars"...

Man, I haven't thought about them in ages. I dug them back then, but they fell victim to the Great CD Sell-off of the 90s. They were great, though. I'll check out those tunes. Hell yeah!

Yeah, I did not realize how good they were til much later. I remember Ty Tabor going on about them back in the day, which would normally have made me run out and buy all the albums. But for some reason I never did.

I've been digging out a lot of the 90s stuff again lately. It's probably my favorite decade of music; there were just so many great albums released then, from rock to metal, grunge to alt-rock, indie, rapcore, nu-metal...it just had a little something of everything.

^^^^^So true^^^^

The 80's get me for the nostalgia factor but the nineties stuff is just so varied and timeless. So much overlooked and forgotten - like that Hum record. As soon as I heard "Stars" on some sampler I immediately went out and got that album.
