The major ISP's have struck a deal with the RIAA and the MPAA to "educate" people who continually access illegal content via their computers.

It's always funny to watch people try to put the horses back in the barn a decade after they bolted loose...

not to rehash all the downloading discussions - I do agree with Shawn its a too late but I do think they have a right to protect their copyright...

Seems to me, the only people who would complain about something like this are those who aren't paying for their music/movies. "Bah God! Are you actually telling me NOT to break copyrights! How DARE you?!"

This doesn't really surprise me, but I also believe it will be just as ineffective. Does this have any effect on the countless proxy servers set up for illegal downloading? No? Well there ya have it: it's treating a symptom, while the source is let to live on.
