I am officially seconding Toho's recommendation of the Michael Monroe disc. It rawks biggy styley.

I don't wear earplugs to shows because I don't go to shows anymore, but if I did go to shows, I'd probably wear them because I'm all old 'n' stuff.

Yeah, that's my thing. I'm too old to be acting like a kid all the time.

I need to realize that. I started wearing earplugs for a while, but not all the time.

My ear doctor told me that it's not even a matter of a choice once you get older. You'll simply lose your hearing if you keep abusing your ears. I learned that the hard way. I'm just glad that after much therapy and medical attention, I was able to get my hearing back.

For a while there I had to have subtitles on all movies and I could not even enjoy music at all. It was horrible. The thought of learning sign language horrified me.

This all happened right after moving to Phoenix.
