| He grew up in the DC scene...tons of hardcore & punk bands...I don't see what liking fights has to do with it. I'd wager that Grohl would throw down on someone in a minute if given the right circumstances...and he probably cares enough about his fans to not want to see them screwed with. |

I agree as well - It's completely appropriate to have the guy thrown out, but Dave was clearly using the situation to his advantage, and ended up sounding like a dick. |

| Of course he used it to his advantage, and rightfully so! It's his show, his band, and some piece of trash was out there probably kicking little girls and picking on people smaller than him.

I've actually seen Halford do something similar to this years ago, when I was at a Fight gig. A bunch of guys in the pit were squashing a girl against the stage, he actually helped her up onstage to get her out of the crush, then called the guys out and said "That's how you're supposed to treat a lady...not like a piece of sh*t." Then he kissed her hand and she watched the rest of the show from the side of the stage by the crew/roadies.

| Dave wasn't being a dick...he was respecting his audience. Even when they tried to start a "Dave-Dave" chant, he stopped them and would not the crowd treat him like a hero...the guy was a dick and he had to be kicked out...and Eyesore is right, singling the guy out helps security find him. |

It was kinda funny cuz even though Halford was supposed to be tryin' for the Pantera-ish "street/groove/br00tal" vibe with that band, he still stopped the show to help this gal and scold the guys in the crowd like a proper British school teacher.

Yeah and Axl has very little to no credibility anymore either, and any credibility he has is for a masterpiece of an album he did in 1987!!
