| If I own it I am not embrassed to let other know I like it. The one that surprises some people is I have the Maxi Single of The Black Eyed Peas - Where is the Love. I am sorry but I like the song and it has an awesome message. |

| Not embarrassed, but definately out of place in my collection: Ice-T -Original Gangsta Public Enemy -It takes a Nation of Millions & Bum Rush the Snow Da Lench Mob -Guerrillas in the Mist N.W.A. -Scraight out of Compton
Now my wifes collection, Great Googily-Moogily! N-Sync, Brittney Spears, Boys to Men, Dixie Chicks, Casper the Friendly Ghost soundtrack!?! I'd set it all on fire but that would be an insult to open flame. |

| I still remember the awkward moment, as a young teen headbanger, of walking up to the check-out counter of my local indie CD shop, with my long hair, leather jacket, ripped jeans and an Iron Maiden t-shirt, with The Carpenters' Greatest Hits in my hands. And three Megadeth CDs. Even the clerk stopped and asked what the hell was THIS? Look, I bought it for my mom, ok?? In short, thank God for online shopping nowadays. There's a lot of stuff in my collection that I inherited from family, friends, ex-girlfriends, etc. A lot of it I don't listen to, but I have a thing with not being able to get rid of music. I horde crap. I should really organize it better, though... it's just kind of odd having your Kreator and Saxon albums sandwiched between The Very Best of The Chieftains and Pet Shop Boys' Greatest Hits (ok, I do have a soft spot for '80s synth pop, admittedly). |

| Cathy Denis - Move To This bought it used, after rememberings she was on the Beverly Hills 90210 tv show
I usually have sold off / traded most cd's to used record stores at a huge loss when I hated them (or "embarassed" of them), or were bored of them. The last time I did a few years ago, received practically nothing. |

I remember having a similar experience years ago while holiday shopping. I went up to the counter in Tower Records with a CD by Michael Crawford (star of Broadway's "Phantom of the Opera") for my Mom and a Bolt Thrower CD for my brother. The guy at the register kinda chuckled and said "That's an interesting combo." _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| Travis Tritt and New World Son. Travis Tritt is country (Gag!!) and New World Son is soul music from Canada (weird). Neither one is something that I would have normally bought but they caught my ear and are great. The other one that would stand out is my Smoky Mountain Hymns collection. I love the old hymns and done in bluegrass really seems to bring them to life. |

Dennis Stratton listened to a lot of George Benson. See what happened to him!? Haha.
I own the first 3 Creed albums. As a child of the late 90's, post-grunge was everywhere. I was 8 when I got the first one. I actually credit them with introducing me to the sound of rock guitar.
Extra Credit: Creed was also my first concert. February 8, 2002 at the MCI Center in DC. Still have the ticket stub! |

My favorite band at the time was still Mortification, but they were certainly among the bands I couldn't help but like thanks to the radio of those days |

| Embarrassed ain't the word! Maybe I'm Depressed more than embarrassed, but when I was a kid in '78 I bought the Grease soundtrack, and for some strange reason, I bought the CD years later. I'm ashamed..... |
