| Thought I'd share this story cause it was pretty cool!
The wife and I got to go to yesterdays taping of two upcoming episodes of that Metal Show!
Episode 1 was a tribute to the Glam days of Hollywood and featured Michael Sweet, Taime Downe and Janie Layne! It was a very cool episode!
Episode 2 that taped is actually going to be the premiere show for this upcoming season and it was an honor to be there! We saw an hour long with Tony Iommi! This was so cool for me! My two favorite bands are Stryper and Black Sabbath! Plus I got to shake hands andmeet Tony Iommi (Briefly)
Guest guitarist was Phil Collen from Def Leppard who was very friendly and talked to everyone!
Biggest regret we forgot our camera! DOUGH!

| That's pretty cool.
How long would you say each taping goes? I'm assuming they tape over an hour's worth of material then whittle it down to 48 minutes or so for broadcast.

| Yeah Each episode is an hour long. Each episode took about 2 hours to film. They redid a few segments then had each artist record a promo spot. All in all we were there about 5 hours. I'd do it again. I'm a big Sammy fan too and he recorded the day before that would have been cool. |

Eddie Trunk probably had to promise to cut Lars' lawn and clean his pool for the next three years in order to get him on the show.
