I know she's really soft ... but man who doesn't have moods that stuff like this really soothes your soul!



Any other Enya fans on board? I'm listening to her first album right now - and feel like I'm being swept away in old Celtic worlds where the magic of this music is taking me!

me! I really enjoy Shepherds Moon and Watermark.

Watermark was the first one I heard. The Clannad stuff isn't so ethereal, but it's pretty good too.

My sister used to play her music at home when we were in high school. I always felt depressed after every time I was subjected to the music. I know she's talented for whatever genre she's in, but not my thing at all.

In my opinion her music is very depressing.

Her music can, indeed feel dark.

I personally don't mind darker sounding stuff. I guess that's why I like a lot of goth and industrial stuff. For some reason cloudy weather always made me happier. I'm not run-of-the-mill that way I know.

But Enya is not for everyone. No mistaking that. She's for the magical few though.

I dig Enya..... I own two of her albums... Haven't listened to 'em in a while but I really enjoy 'em...

When I heard her stuff in The Fellowship of The Ring..... I was sold....


Maybe that's why when I drove through the Redwoods last year the music fit!!!

I dont own her whole discography but I have three albums.

I went through a big Enya phase in the mid-90s but to be honest these days it just doesn't do anything for me. Don't hate it or anything, just for some reason it no longer appeals to me like it did then. Storms in Africa will always be my favorite of hers.

Smooth Up Enya

I had a buddy who was really into her stuff back in the 90's and early 2000's. Heard alot of it, pretty good, but never pursued it any further.

Not a fan, but she's pleasing to the eyes.
