| Who knows? I'm not sure why I or anyone else would care what his political views are. I know there are folks out there that care about that sort of thing, and bully for them. Have at it. But I fail to see the facination of it all. But hey, that's just me.

| Just so this doesn't turn into some twisted political discussion that gets the thread closed by our lock-happy mods ( ), how about we discuss Mick's solo albums, shall we? They are terrible. I owned Godess in the Doorway for about 15 minutes. It was a gift from my brother. Bless his heart. Every time he tries to by music for me, he never follows my suggestions and goes for something he "thinks" I'll like. He's 0-for-4 I think at this point. But he gets an 'E' for effort. Anyway, Mick was trying to get on that Rod Stewart-adult contemporary-soft rock boat that was all the rage with old rockers and it fell flat on it's floppy man-tits. He needs to stick to rock n roll and more importantly, keep the peace with Keef. Solo records are not his forte.

| Keith has probably fared much better in terms of quality and sales with his solo albums than all of the other Stones solo efforts put together.

yep. I really enjoy Talk is Cheap and Main Offender. The live album was eh, but the two studio albums rock!_________________ |

| I maybe the only one, but I love Mick Jagger's solo albums, except for 'She's the Boss' which is a dog.
I loved 'Primitive Cool' which had some of his personal lyrics and think it is an excellent album, and 'Wanderin' Spirit' is an excellent disc IMO, 'Goddess in the Doorway' is hit or miss but I still I like it.
As far his personal politics, if you read his lyrics, he seems to think all politicans are sh!t, no matter what side of the aisle they sit on. |

I prefer not to know an entertainer's politics, helps me appreciate their talent without my own bias interfering (sic).
As for Mick's music, I never really listened to him since I'm not much of a fan of the Rolling Stones. I could get a best of RS album and never need to hear another song by them. |

Me too, I don't own any Jagger albums, but I do have a 2CD GH compilation of 40 Stones songs (The Forty Licks Toho referred to) which is more than enough for me. |

I know people who have always said they don't understand why Hollywood and music millionaires are supposedly Democrat and liberal when it's the Dems who want to add taxes to the rich.
