Matt Hardy was in a recent car accident done to him being wasted. At first they thought he was drunk then found out he was on drugs instead and now he has other charges against him:

Along with this, he has been fired from TNA. Coupled with him burning his bridges with WWE, doen't look like he has much a wrestling career left. Origionally Jeff was the screwed up one and Matt the responsible brother but now it seems both of them have run off the cliff.

Celebrities wrecking themselves through substance abuse is not new, but when your brother (somone who is also a close friend) is a wreck, you think you'd know better.

I didn't think it was a big deal when I seen the Hardys do a youtube video from a fastfood joint when they were drunk, ripping on CM Punk. Maybe that was last year?

Now it seems, they both have abuse problems. Sad.
It's just what the haters want to see, since they were the highflying pretty boys that all the girls liked.

Matt was always seen as the better wrestler of the two while Jeff was just looked at as just a spot monkey.

Seems like the brothers have switched roles according to their mutual best friend Shane Helms (The Hurricane) in a recent interview:

I hope it all works out for him and he gets what ever help he needs - but man does Matt Hardy seemingly combine everything I hate about wrestling these days along with everything I loathe about the internet/fame.

I saw the video on YT, with the comments from his brother's wife saying it was a joke. I don't know the guy at all (not a wrestling fan), but man, to post that video was just amazingly dumb.

So my new motto is:

Ignore anybody name "Hardy" in wrestling circles. If everyone took this approach, these morons would go away.

If you can't control your addictions then don't bother cluttering up a wrestling program.

This guy's ego is as big as his problems. Framing celebrities for crimes is reserved for REAL celebrities, not washed up pro-wrestlers who have long since used up their talent.

Its a shame that their credibility just got shot seems to me that Matt Hardy went downhill after him and Amy Dumas (Lita) split as a couple.

I used to like the Hardy Boyz as a tag team I hope both him and his brother get their problems sorted out

I'm kinda left to wonder why friends or family haven't done an intervention of some kind. Unfortunately without help there is no way this ends well - not to mention the safety threat he's posing by driving around under the influence.
