I shall pass.

I agree with MG71 that the clean vocals on The Crusade sounded like Hetfield and I was down with that.

If they've reverted to screaming/shouting/growling and occasional clean vox again, I pass.

I like this album quite a bit probably in my top 5 for the year, is it metalcore? probably but it is still "metal". Also I am not a scene kid, not many 35 year old fat balding guys in that scene.

That's cool. I'm not into the whole genre-classification anyway.

My only concern with this album is how much growling/screaming vs clean vocals?

In Waves is killer and damn catchy if you ask me. I Like trivium, they have a ton of melody and are extremely talented and I love a killer breakdown.
