Hey everybody...did you miss me?

(Everyone: "*cough cough* You were gone? Wait, who are you again?")

Well in case anyone was wondering, we here in New Jersey are still suffering the effects of Hurricane Irene which came thru our area over the weekend. We haven't had electricity since 4:30 AM Sunday morning and power may not be restored till Friday. I had three feet of water in my basement Sunday morning after the storm had blown thru. With the power out, my sump pump obviously couldn't get rid of the water that was coming in. Had to have the fire dept. come pump out my cellar, and for all I know my furnace and water heater may be unsalvageable. We have to have someone from the utility company come to check them out but obviously there's no point in doing that till the lights come back on.

Right now I'm at my Mom's to use her shower and her washer/dryer, and just to get the hell away from it for a while. Sorry this message is so short but I'm using her lap top and quite frankly this thing sucks. I'll be back as soon as the lights come back on at home.

Sorry to hear about your damage. Man, that sucks. Sounds like you and Sebastian Bach live in the same neighborhood. Good luck getting your life back to normal as soon as possible.

When I hadn't seen you on here, I knew that you must have been affected by the hurricane in some significant way. I hope things will return to normal as soon as possible for you and your family. Mother nature can be a real bitch at times! Keep us posted...
