So I picked up the new Saviours disc today. Didn't even know they had one coming out. I can't keep up with music news these days.

Anyway, the new album is called Death's Procession, and it's another great one! If you've not heard these guys, check them out. They're kind of lumped in with that retro rock thing, especially being on Kemado Records. They do have a retro sound, but it mixes thrash, rock, and traditional metal. Even a little doom at times.

Such a great band.

They'd fit perfectly on a bill with The Sword, Priestess and Early Man. I'll be adding these guys to the list, toot sweet! How many albums do they have? 2 you say?

On CD, they have three full-lengths and one EP. On vinyl, they have four EPs, one 12" and three 7". I missed out on the 7" EPs, which sucks. Only 500 were made. =(

Been spinning Into Abaddon quite a bit this week. The vocalist is the weak link here, but I'm getting used to it. Not quite as harsh as the dude from High on Fire and I like them just fine. I think I'll be investing in some more from these guys at some point.

He takes some getting used to, yeah. When I picked up their debut EP, I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle it. And his vocals are harsher on that EP and their first full-length. But they grew on me.

I saw them on this tour as well. I don't own any music by this band. But I didn't think they were bad live. I should probably check into picking up a cd by them.

I bought Crucifire on a whim, and fell in love with it. This one is definitely on my want-list.

Not too shabby. I like the overall sound (especially the guitar harmonies), the singer doesn't bother me at all. The songwriting isn't all that memorable, but it's enjoyable enough while it's playing.

I still need to get their lastest, Death's Procession. Their other 2 have grown on me quite a bit. I still think the vocalist is the weak link here, but it works. From the sound clips I've heard, he's improved slightly from their earlier material.
