PostSubject: New Truck   Sat Sep 24, 2011 1:26 am

I bought me a new truck today. A Ford Ranger Sport Super Cab 4x4 with 4.0L SOHC V6 Engine 5SP Automatic O/D Trans. It has AM/FM CD player with Aud input jack for MP3 player, Sirius Sat for 6 months. It's pretty much fully loaded and Torch Red with all the discounts and my trade in I got it for 16,000.
It should be here on Mon sometime I'm really looking forward to this new truck I've had my car almost 8 years now. I'll post a pic next week!

Cool, man. I just got a new (well, it's new to me anyway) pickup truck last week, a 2005 Nissan Frontier. I've never owned a truck before so this past week has been a learning experience.

97 I owned a small simple Ford Ranger that winter was hard on that truck not being a 4x4 and to light. I traded it for a Ford Extend Cab that was used and a 95 always overheated on me. I traded that off for a 98 XLT Ford 4x4 and owned it until a truck accident in 2003. With my insurance money from it I bought a 97 Ford extend cab again and from day 1 it was a lemon owned it for 6 months when I got 2004 Pontiac Grand AM and that car never cause me 1 problem except for 1 front strut other than that it was an awesome car.

Now I'm trading it for the 2011 Ford Ranger Sport Super Cab, I can't wait to get it on Mon.

i liked Ford trucks. My brother in law has a F250 and that thing rocks. The only thing that prevented me from getting a Ranger is the lack of a quad cab - I needed something i could bring my kids in and Ford has just those little bench seats when i was looking.

True but for me that is all I need some room behind the seat and room in the back box for a tool box.

yep. If I didnt need the space I would have gotten the Ranger. Love my dakota though - which surprised me when i test drove it because I am normally a Ford kind of guy.
