| Well with the Vikings, Twins, Wild, T-Puppies all terrible teams the one team enjoying great success are the Minnesota Lynx. The Minnesota Lynx reached their 1st WNBA Finals for the 1st time in team history. They were the top team in the league all year and are led by Simone Augustus & Maya Moore who was named WNBA Rookie Of The Year. They have an allstar team with Lindsey Whalen, Cindy Brunson, Maya Moore, Simone Augustus, & Candice Wiggins, J Adair.....
I firmly believe this team will do it for all those other pro teams in Minnesota who have not with the exception of the Twins.

| They picked a nice time to get noticed, what with every other sports story in Minnesota being somewhere between pathetic and downright morbid. I'm a hypocrite because I haven't paid attention to them either, but I did get increasingly offended every time a Twin Cities sportscast led off with another 4-0 Twins loss instead of this, which is a legit story IMO even if only a local one. Girls High School and College hoops are well attended around here, so I don't see any reason why the Pro team shouldn't have their fans as well. I hope they win and sell out their games, they deserve it. It's nice to see something on the local sports news that doesn't involve concussions or fainting spells for a change too. That's about all we've had around here lately beyond the usual DWI's. |

| Wisconsin is basking in great sports and you all laugh at us from MN. MN will never be good in any pro sports or college they never have. But I can't stand Wisconsin.

| Well a couple years ago when you picked up Favre you guys were looking pretty good. All of my MN friends from college were eating in up, rubbing it in quite a bit that year. It was a painful time for WI. I'm sure the tides will turn eventually. They often seem to go one way and then another.
Now for college hockey various MN teams seem to do quite well very consistently. |

Yeah the Uuniversity of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs are the defending NCAA champs. Other than that the Minnesota Gophers suck until Lucia is gone they will continue to freefall. I'm in an area that is big on the UND Sioux and I can't stand the Sioux.
