Also, in your review for Leather's Shock Waves album, you say that Pat O'Brien has also played with Cannibal Corpse (who he still plays with), Lethal, and Nevermore. He never played in Lethal.

Well I just got it a couple days ago finally (partly why I went to see what your thoughts on it were), and the first listen wasn't that impressive. I think I'll play it again in a little bit though.

My thoughts on post-DJ LS: I like Reborn and love The Hammering Process, but with Conceived in Fire, although I was really into it at first, it hasn't held up well. In just the last year I downloaded the 4 relevant tracks from "In Memoriam" and was really impressed by the 3 new ones, especially Killers, which I think has a pretty awesome main riff.

The 2 song ep they released on iTunes, Death Machine, while being metalcore, is also pretty excellent in my opinion.

So given my thoughts on In Memoriam's new tunes, and Death Machine, I had high hopes for the newest one, but the first listen was definitely disappointing. I'll let you know if I change my mind on follow-up listens.

But I'm thinking I will think of it like Conceived in fire, which is to say, kind of like you do: it sounds too "samey".
