| From Classic Rock Magazine, in weird way this idea makes sense:
Lady Gaga To Front Queen?
Could you imagine Queen fronted by Lady Gaga? Well, Brian May can!
Talking to the Daily Express, the guitarist had this to say about the idea: “We talk about going out on the road all the time but there’s a bit of a singer problem to put it mildly. We get a lot of offers to work with other people. I worked with Lady Gaga and she’s very creative and is someone we’ve talked about singing, fronting the band with. She’s not just a singer, she writes her own material.
“We have talked about doing duets with other people and in a strange way I almost pressed the ‘yes’ button. We were debating the idea of a TV show where we have all these guest stars. We didn’t press it today but we are still looking at it. Lady Gaga has said she would like to do something with us.” |

| Finally, Queen would have a front person who dresses funnier than Freddie Mercury. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| Brian May needs a swift kick in the head!!!!! Can't he just let the legacy lie in peace and with dignity? _________________ |

| I would give this as much attention as I gave when Paul Rodgers was singing with them. That would be "little-to-none".
Brian May is becoming the George Lucas of music. Give it a rest man and move onto a new project! _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

I actually think it would work and further more would be something Freddie Mercury would have liked, the campy ascept of Lady Gaga fronting Queen, but yes please let the name Queen rest. |

I agree completely manny. They could even call it Radio Gaga, the merchandising sells itself. |

| It sounds like an interesting experiment, but I can't see this lasting very long. Still sounds like a better idea then that Metallica/Lou Reed collaboration though. |

| That would be sweet. Lady Gaga is very respectful to the true legends of music. She sings praise to Sabbath and Maiden all the time. Whether it's true or not, I don't really give a smurf poo, all that's important is that it makes mention of them and might turn some 13 year old onto Piece of Mind and change their life forever. Queen is a legendary band with a HUGE influence across all genres of music. Gaga spreading the word to her pop masses isn't a bad thing. |

| I can picture it yes, but doesnt mean I think it should happen
I agree Queen needs to let it rest, as any incarnation is NOT Queen without Freddie, and if Freddie was alive and another member say Brian May wasnt then it still would not be Queen.
I think I can picture it cuz Lady GaGa is Lady Coo Coo and for the glam/flamboyancy factor but she is NO Freddie |

| I don't like Lady Gaga, but apparently she's mad into metal. She was raving on about how much she loves Iron Maiden a while back, I heard that she had the lads from Enforcer backstage at one of her shows in Sweden.
Besides, if anyone should front Queen now, it's Marc Martel. He's like Freddy reincarnated. I can't post a link, so just Google his name and click on the 'Somebody to Love' audition. |
