| I just popped in. Iīm a rocker from Scandinavia listening to (just to name few) ... Helloween Dream Theater Opeth Slayer In Flames Amorphis Sentenced Megadeth Joe Satriani House of Lords etc.. My tastes are Diverse, as you can see... from progressive to melodic and also brutal. I love also guitar driven rock and hard rock.. and listen to some selective pop.. U2, Sting.. I also love Sci-fi, horror and fantasy. I read and write a lot. Thatīs about me - who are you?  |

| Welcome! You'll find you have a lot in common with many members here.
I'm into sci-fi and horror as well (especially extreme horror). Favorite bands:

Quireboys
Jethro Tull
Dropkick Murphys
...but I like pretty much anything guitar-based provided the vocals don't sound like somebody gargling with razors.

You are right.
Scandinavia is officially made of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. But in a broad way of thinking also Finland is part of it.. then the official expression would actually be Fenno- Scandinavia ( or Nordic countries if you count Iceland ).
So actually I should have said that Iīm from Fenno-Scandinavia, because Iīm from Finland. But since people hardly knows where Finland is, I like to use the broad expression of (Fenno-)Scandinavia. It is easier to spot.
I hope Kmorg isnīt hanging me for using a bit broad expression.
Well.. that was the knowledge of my origins.
Like my fellow country men.. I also love Sauna, Beer, and Metal. |
