Isurus are a progressive metal band based in London, England.

Musically Isurus is an organically evolving, rhythmically complex juxtaposition of light and shade which encompasses a myriad of moods and atmospheres, always suffused with a deep presence and purpose. They create a sophisticated form of metal with many elements and a musicality that is far removed from the core genre, whilst they are still pushing the envelope of technical groove based metal that is the backbone of their sound.

A progressive, experimental and open minded approach is the main trait and solidifying force within the band, which fuels their originality. This unrestrained, forward thinking ethos infiltrates every aspect of the project and is not solely reserved for the music alone.

Isurus completed their twelve track debut album Telos in june 2011. The current line up of Isurus consists of; Thomas Drew on drums, Lizod on guitar, and Braun Amore as the vocalist.
