| The Hoffman brothers are finally back! Was just watching their latest video and its better than Deicide have been in YEARS!!! I am very impressed! Sounds like Deicide if Deicide were great again!

I am surprised you like these Satanic bastards, I figured their lyrical stance against Jesus, Christianity would be offensive or at least bothersome to you, since you belong to Christian metal band. |

| i agree with ToB, the last Deicide was very good. so was The Stench of Redemption, however i am looking forward to the Amon album. from what i've heard, it's going to be a monster. _________________   |

Agreed! The new Deicide shouldn't get any hate. I'd rate it in the top half of their discography (and even above Stench).
Amon was really cool too. I don't think it's as interesting as the last Deicide, but they've only shown us one song. I'll probably buy this if I can find it for a reasonable price.
Also, I'm listening to Once Upon The Cross right now  |

Other than the lyrics, the music is top notch death metal. Oddly enough, I think they got better when Jack Owens joined. Some songs sort of carry a little of that Cannibal Corpse groove on newer albums. |
